Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation – A Government of Himachal Pradesh Undertaking
The HP Ex-Servicemen Corporation was established to provide comprehensive welfare and support to the ex-servicemen community across Himachal Pradesh. Since our inception, we have been dedicated to ensuring the wellbeing and successful rehabilitation of those who served our nation.
With a mandate to provide employment opportunities, training programs, and various support services, we strive to honor the sacrifice and service of our veterans by helping them transition successfully into civilian life.
The Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation (HIMPESCO) was established under the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation Act, 1979, as a welfare initiative of the Government of Himachal Pradesh dedicated to the rehabilitation and employment of ex-servicemen in the state.
The Corporation was subsequently amended and strengthened through the Himachal Pradesh Ex-Servicemen Corporation (Amendment and Validation) Act, 2013, reinforcing its mandate to provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to retired defence personnel and their dependents.
- Empanelled with Directorate General Resettlement (DGR), Ministry of Defence, Government of India, for deployment of ex-servicemen manpower across the nation
- Income Tax Exemption granted under Section 10(26BBB) of the Income Tax Act, 1961, recognizing its welfare-centric operations
- Recognized as an Autonomous Body under the Department of Sainik Welfare, Government of Himachal Pradesh
